The message of the Bible (and the message we are committed to) can all be summed up in the person of Jesus the Christ. “This is eternal life, that they know You that only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent” – Jesus (Jn.13:3 ESV).

Eternal life is much more than a length of time - it is a quality of life; it is a new way to live!

Eternal life is not merely something we add onto the end of our days but is the very Life of God given to us as a free gift through faith in Jesus.

Eternal life is a new life. It is Jesus' way of living with all the rights, privileges, acceptance, and victory over sin that Jesus has before the Father.

Jesus' life becomes our life when we simply believe in Him for who He is - the living Lord who died to save us from ourselves and the consequences of our sin.

This new quality of life will never end because it is God's very own life and He has no end; yet the one who has Jesus can start living it today. The following is a resource that may be helpful to you in regards to getting started on your journey to knowing God personally.

Just remember the substance of Christianity and the message of the Bible is Jesus – Believing in who He is; and what He has done. Being a Christian is not as much about who you are and what you have done - as it is about who Jesus is and what He has done for you!!! That's why we call it "Good News"!!!
